Project Controller – European Space Agency, Germany
The German office of Thorn SDS has an immediate vacancy for a Project Controller to work as part of an International team based at the prestigious European Space Agency (ESOC) in Darmstadt, 20km South of Frankfurt.
Thorn is offering relocation support plus a salary of €60k depending on experience. The successful candidate will be expected to take up residence in Germany with some European travel.
Applicants should have experience of controlling projects worth in excess of €10m. Applicants with experience gained in the Petrochem, Aerospace or similar industrial sectors would be considered ideal.
Applicants should also have a degree either engineering or business and have excellent knowledge of MS office suite including Access and Project. Previous experience with SAP / SRM would be desirable.
Experience in:
- Cost structure management of major projects
- Compilation and production of management and financial information reports
- Managing project and financial schedules
Ability to:
- Exercise influence over project schedules
- Prepare and evaluate tender documents
- Work independently without supervision
